Werner Klemperer is a German-American actor, performer and singer. Known for his role as Colonel Wilhelm Klink on the CBS sitcom Hogan's Heroes, he twice won Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series at the 1968 and 1969 Primetime Emmy Awards. After serving in the US Army during the Second World War it began to happen. on Broadway in 1947. Subsequently, Klemperer appeared in several films early in his acting career as The Wrong Man, Judgment at Nuremberg and Houseboat, and roles in television shows such as Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Perry Mason , Maverick, Gunsmoke, The Untouchables, and Have Gun Will Travel, before Hogan's role as hero.
