He also produces and composes music for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, another sitcom created by his wife. Richmond won three Emmy Awards for producing the first three seasons of 30 Rock. He was also nominated for an Emmy for composing the 30 Rock title song. It was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Original Music of 2018 for Mean Girls.
